Up Dawg?

An alarm clock that wakes people up with a real comedian's bit, in their own voice.

The Up Dawg? alarm clock, laughing

Your bits, on people's alarm clocks

Every morning, someone's alarm goes off and a comic is waiting. They tap "I'm up" for your setup, then again for your punchline. If they laugh, the app shows them who you are and where you're playing next.

  1. We hear you

We go to open mics in Tacoma and Seattle, or you send us a clip of your set.

  2. You record your bits

A phone in a quiet room is fine. Setup and punchline as separate clips; we even out the volume.

  3. You get paid

A flat fee for each pack, plus a share of what the app earns, split by how often people hear your punchlines.

The deal, in plain words

You keep every right to your material. You're giving us permission to play it in the app, not your jokes.

Non-exclusive. Sell it, tour it, put it in a special. Nothing changes for you.

A signed license first, then your bits go in. Never the other way around.

When the license ends, your pack leaves the app on its own.

Real numbers. Statements show how many times your punchlines were heard and laughed at.

We send people to your shows. Every listener sees your name, your links and your next date.
